What types of materials are attracted to magnets?
We have been learning about properties of materials. Recently we were asked to explore magnets and discuss what types of materials we thought were attracted to magnets. At first we thought it was all metals. But magnets don't stick to coins or aluminum cans, so we realized it couldn't be all metals. We learned that it has to be metals that contain iron.
