What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving dinner?

Trying something new!  Please post on our classroom Padlet and let us know about your favorite part of the Thanksgiving feast!  Thank you.

We are Thankful

We have been busy using the iPads to create a special Thanksgiving treat.

The children thought about what they were thankful for and drew pictures using the app, Drawing Pad.  They typed their own sentence to go with their picture.  Then we used Animoto to put together a Thanksgiving slide show.

Enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your family!

Veteran's Day Assembly

The whole school met for a Veteran's Day assembly.  We sang patriotic songs and learned about the history and meaning of Veteran's Day.

We skyped with the friend of a Topsfield resident stationed in Afghanistan.  He told us to work hard in school and thanked us for supporting the service men and women who protect our freedom.

Steward School was presented with an American flag that flew over a U.S. base in Afghanistan.

iPad project

Students are hard at work on an iPad project using the app, Drawing Pad.
