| The whole school met for a Veteran's Day assembly. We sang patriotic songs and learned about the history and meaning of Veteran's Day. |

| We skyped with the friend of a Topsfield resident stationed in Afghanistan. He told us to work hard in school and thanked us for supporting the service men and women who protect our freedom. |

| Steward School was presented with an American flag that flew over a U.S. base in Afghanistan. |
